Our busy and talented maintenance crew in the village recently completed the installation of new guardrails and handrails on our two one-way bridges on Mill St.  The new handrails will support pedestrians as they walk across these bridges and the guardrails will help mitigate 

damage from vehicle vs. bridge accidents. We’ve had 2 large trucks slam into the bridge in front of 67 Mill St. in the last 2 years. In addition to the support structures, there are reflective fluorescent signage on each side of the bridges to help minimize future accidents.
